There is no doubt that the PS5 supports a frame rate (FPS) of up to 120 frames per second in many games, however, there are some conditions and sacrifices that can be made in order to activate it and achieve this rate. In other words, not all games run at 120 FPS, and it depends on developersâ updates and support for your favorite game.

Figured not enough PS5 exclusives yet to justify the new TV. I want to play Monster Hunter RISE in 120 fps 1080p mode. Loved the two demos that I beat on the switch but I don't have the friends list to play with on the switch. So happy that it is release on the PS4/PS5. I can't even imagin what 120fps will do to a game with such tight controls.
