DS 4 (for C4 Coupé) The Citroën C4 is a car produced under their Citroën marque, from the French automaker PSA Group, and later Stellantis. It was positioned to be the successor to the Citroën Xsara. The first generation production started in September 2004.
Five stars from ANCAP is suggestion enough to tell you the C4 Picasso is a safety leader. Not surprising given that it came equipped with a comprehensive array of safety goodies, from front, side and curtain airbags, ABS brakes and electronic stability control. Thankfully Ford has now turned its attention to the baby family carrier, finally giving the C-Max a splash of kinetic design to bring it in line with prettier rivals like Citroen’s C4 Picasso.
It's 225mm higher than the Xsara hatchback on which it is based (which makes it seem much bigger) but just 60mm longer ('shrinking' the car when it comes to tight parking spaces). Probably the biggest difference over the conventional Xsara is the wheelbase, 220mm longer to enable the inclusion of five full-sized seats.
